This number appears to be the National Sex Offender hotline. It's set up to allow sexual predators to call people and harass them over the telephone rather than attack a child on the street. In order to keep these deviates away from children, it is suggested that you "talk dirty" to them when they call. The expression of extreme vulgarity satisfies their desire for sexual release. Think of it this way: By cursing out a predator, you save a child from anguish. Incidentally, they respond extra well to racially-orient taunts. With CallerID, you can let loose with a stream of invective immediately upon picking up the phone handset. Go for it!

Received a call at my place of employment - it is a municipality and the Supervisor's Secretary told her not to call. I have no idea who this is.

I get calls from this number at all times of the day any day of the week. I am a person in poor health and all these calls are very annoying. There are times when I answer and I hear a womans' voice asking for someone. Other times there's no one on the line.

They just leave noise on my answer machine.

Keep getting calls from this number.. heavy indian accent... different name every time. say the issue at hand is extrememly time sensitive and to have me or my attorney return call. Same man calls a few times each week. Just asks for the owner of the company (by his first name). All I can get out is "he's not in right now..." (I usually add "could I take a message and have him call you back?" but I can't get that far.) As soon as I say he's not in right now, the man says "OK thank you"...CLICK...

This is from one of several groups established by Newt Gingrich. They claim to be from the "Republican National Committee," but they're not (not exactly, anyway). Citizens Action is one name they use. They claim they're exempt from any do not call list, and attempts to get them to stop result in more calls from their "affiliate" groups. I've sent complaints to the FCC as well as my representatives in Congress. It's beginning to border on harrassment (5-6 calls per day ... )

Someone by the name Richard Johnson called from BCI regarding criminal case against my social security number, same guy called me with another name a week ago.He must be a scam artist.
